More detail on this person: Franklin Earl "Frank'" Addison, 64, left this life Friday, July 26,2013, with friends, family and a hospice care team surrounding him. He was born July 15, 1949, and was a lifel.~ng resident of Punta Gorda, Fla. Frank attended Charlotte County Schools and graduated from Charlotte . High School in 1967. He was a warrant Officer in the U.S. Army and was Veteran of the Vietnam War. Frank was awarded a Purple Hearts and other distinguished honors and flight med- .

also After returning from Vietnam, Frank started a career in construction, with a specialty in masonry. He became a licensed general contractor in the 1970s. Frank was active in the community and loved the opportunity to help children. He was a Pop Warner coach, an active supporter of CHS sports and a sponsor of numerous youth athletics. He was a member of the Punta Gorda County Club and .Kingsway Country Club. Frank enjoyed golf, fishing, Gator football, baking for his family and friends, and sharing a good laugh!!!

He is survived by his wife, Judith D. Addison; children, Dee (Aaron) Lefrancois of Punta Gorda, and Franklin G. (Aimee) Addison ofTampa; Fla.; sister, Ellie (Robert) Signori 'of Lakeville, Mass.; and grandchildren, Ashton and Addyson

Lefrancois, and Ethan and Averi Addison. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Vera Marie and Franklin Addison of Punta Gorda; and brotther Thomas Glynn Addison.

Military honors will be at 9:30 a.m., with a celebration of Frank's life to follow at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 10,2013, at Kingsway Country Club, 13625 S.W.
