More detail on this person: WILLIAM LOUIS BRADNER of Winter Springs, FL - he was the son of Harry R and Beatrice Wonderly Bradner. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars who served as an aerial Field Artillery Forward Observer in Tongduchon, Korea, two tours as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in the Battle of Soui Tre, Vietnam when he repeatedly flew his damaged aircraft into enemy fire to rescue wounded comrades. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn (married 1951); children, Martin and Alison and brothers, H Robert, Richard, James and David, surviving are children, Jeffrey Bradner of Winter Springs, Gregory Bradner (Kristie) of Yorktown, VA, Rebecca Havel (Mike) of Winter Springs; grandchildren, Jessica Carwile (David), Megan Wilson (Jeffery), Aaron Bradner, Michael Havel and Matthew Havel and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Bradley Carwile and Ian and Ellie Wilson. Services will be held at St Stephen Church in Winter Springs, FL on April 20, 2017. Published in the Orlando Sentinel on Apr. 16, 2017.
