More detail on this person: From the injuries sustained in a Mini-500 accident on 15 Sep 98 enroute to a personal appearance.Survived hijacking to the Marion Prison. This fame landed him the job of the first pilot/reporter in St Louis for 18 years. He had accumulated more than 30,000 hours flying. He is survived by his wife Chris, two daughters, and a son.

Died September 25, 1998 of injuries suffered in the crash of his personal helicopter on September 19.
