Beloved husband of Lois Ann Burch; father of Mary Lou (Rick) Lien, Jane Ann Burch and the late Thomas G. Burch; father-in-law of Shelby Burch; brother of Doris Patino, Charles and Joyce Burch; grandfather of Brianna, Stephen, Bonnie and Bridget. An American hero who served in Vietnam and Korea, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Bronze Star during time served in Vietnam and was a respected Brother of the Little Bears. Memorial mass will be offered at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd. Springfield, VA on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment Fairfax Memorial Park.
