Colonel John BROCKLISS Colonel John A. Brockliss, US Army (Ret), passed away March 29, 2007. He served 31 years in the Army (Active, then Reserves), 30 years as a civilian for the Army, and four years with the Department of Homeland Security. He served in Viet Nam in 1967 and 1968. He later served at Paine Field, Everett; Vancouver Barracks, and Ft. Lawton, WA. Funeral Services are 9:30 a.m., St. James Cathedral, Friday, April 13th, with a Reception at noon at Ft. Lawton. Interment is Monday, April 16th, 10:00 a.m. at Tahoma Veterans Affairs Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to O'Dea High School or Reserve Officers Association, 22906 Edmonds Way, #7, Edmonds, WA 98020.
