Hoosier Soldier Killed in Germany BOEBLINGEN, Germany (UPI) -The U. S. Army today identified three soldiers killed when their helicopter crashed and burned near Paderborn last Friday. One of them was Lt. Gerald V. Belcher, Evansville, Ind. According to an Army spokesman, the CH34 helicopter belonging to the U. S. 7th Army Support Command was engaged in a training exercise. West German police said the craft crashed in a blinding snowstorm not far from a farmhouse about seven miles southeast of Paderborn in the State of West- phala. Cause of the crash was under investigation. The other victims were identified as CWO Joe W. Boyd, Kennett, Mo., and Spec. Jerry F. David, Nederland, Tex.
