More detail on this person: BROSELL, EDWARD LEE - age 69, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Brosell was employed with Atlas Roofing for over 20 years as an accountant. He also served as a chief warrant officer and as a captain in the U.S. Army, and completed two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. The first tour was with him flying Cobra Helicopters, and in the second he flew small fixed wing aircraft. Lee was a Christian in the Methodist faith, and was a loving, dear, husband, father, grandfather, and giving friend. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jo Ann Brosell of Meridian; daughter, Kim Fookes and husband Joe of Salem, Wisconsin; grandson, Sean Fookes of Salem, Wisconsin; sister, Christine Fitts of Savannah, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Freda C. Brosell. Memorial services for Mr. Brosell will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chuck Meador officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to the Autism Society of America, 4340 East West Hwy, Suite 350, Bethesda, MO, 2014.
