James E. Bush, 67, of Lacey, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Providence St. Peter Hospital. He was born September 19, 1940 in Port Crane, New York to Charles and Doris (Smith) Bush. Jim had a love for football, hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing, of which came a vast collection of NASCAR memorabilia. He joined the United States Military and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his retirement in 1978 Jim became a civil servant. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Rounds) Bush; his mother, Doris (Smith) Bush; five sons, William Bush, Christian H. Bush, Donald F. Bush, James C. Bush, and Anthony J. Bush; one daughter, Melodie Kaplin; his sister, Joyce (Bush) Pitman; and his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bush. A private family memorial service was held at the Masonic Memorial Park Chapel Grounds, Tumwater, WA.
