A native of Lafayette, he had lived in Lake Charles for 25 years. Mr. Barilleaux was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. He graduated from USL and received his MPA from the University of Colorado. At the time of his death, Mr. Barilleaux was a financial adviser for Merrill Lynch. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Greagoff Barilleaux; one son, Charles Barilleaux and wife Rebecca of Cincin-nati; two daughters, Whitney Barilleaux Hanks and husband Brad and Ann Barilleaux, all of Lake Charles; three grandchil-dren, Cara and Jake Hanks and Caitlin Barilleaux; mother, Joanna Beyt Baril-leaux of Lafayette; four brothers, Mark Barilleaux of Houston, Claude Barilleaux of New York, Ryan Baril-leaux of Hamilton, Ohio, and Rene Barilleaux of Jackson, Miss.

His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles McMillin will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation is 5-10 today - with a Scripture service at 6 p.m. and a rosary at 6:30 p.m. - and 8 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Harbour House ETC.
