More detail on this person: TERRENCE WADE BLACK (Age 65) of Fairfax Station, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 16, 2011. Beloved husband of Suellen Black. Very proud father of Thomas Wade Black of Ashburn, Virginia. Loving brother of Gerald and his wife, Kyle Black. Uncle of Gregory Black and Allison Black-Muni and Daniel Muni all of Winter Springs, Florida. Also his adored Airedale, Marley.

He served in the USN, as an aviator. After he retired from the Navy, he worked with EDS as a Government contractor. He enjoyed volunteering at the Smithsonian, hiking and traveling in his retirement.

The family will receive friends at their home on Wednesday, December 21 starting at noon. Please contact TBlack_Memorial@hotmail.com for additional information.

A Funeral Service with Navy Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doctors Without Borders.
