More detail on this person: I just got the very sad news that Colonel Jim Bolton, USMC, passed away in his sleep in Ohio on Oct 19, 2007. The Colonel was a member of the church I attend in Vista, CA and I went to school with his daughter at Vista High School in 1975. As I recall Colonel Bolton was selected as Marine Corps Flyer of the Year, I think in 1977. I remember him saying that he was the CO of one of the last helo squadrons that left Vietnam.
