More detail on this person: LaDonne Busby, 63, of Blakely died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Busby was born in Chattahoochee County, Ga., Aug. 31, 1946, to the late Julius Wilson Busby and Alma Lee Jones Busby. He was a used car salesman and of the Baptist faith. He was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Busby and wife Erin of Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Angie Busby of Austell, Ga.; one sister, Betty Burkett of Blakely; three brothers, Samuel Busby and wife Kathy of Moreland, Ga., Tommy Busby and wife Merriel of Senoia, Ga., and Bryan Busby of Shady Springs, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry- Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating.
