More detail on this person: Helicopter crash in the Republic of Korea while acting as a co-pilot.CW2 Clarence Leland Benoit on 7/18/76 was flying in a UH-1H with US Army Cpt Craven (Pat, I think) and one crew chief when they flew into high tension electrical lines in Korea. Contol tubes were severed and the crash killed all aboard. Unit was 2nd Avn Bn, 2nd Inf Div, Camp Casey, ROK. I was a unit IP at the time but did not witness the accident first hand. They were lead in a formation flight. All other AC were able to avoid the other lines.
