More detail on this person: CONNORS, ROBERT WILLIAM CLARK CONNORS, ROBERT WILLIAM CLARK, 66, of Tampa, died Tuesday (March 13, 2001) at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was an Army veteran earning several awards: the Distinguished Flying Cross, a Bronze Star, 26 air medals, and the Army Commendation Medal. He attended the Ordinance Officer's Basic Course. In 1961, he was accepted into the Army flight program and served two tours in Vietnam, where he flew Caribou and the CH-47 Chinook. After leaving the Army in 1968, he continued flying in Laos with Continental Air Services until 1974. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sandra; three daughters, Cathy, Jean and Cristin; four sons, Sean, Darin, Padraig, and Gaelan; and six grandchildren. Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa.
