More detail on this person: Clippert Leo Carrier Mr. Clippert Leo Carrier age 73 of Stonebrook Circle Blairsville passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2011 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr.Carrier was born on April 26, 1938 in Mt. Clemons, MI., the son of the late Joseph Carrier and the late Addie Rosco Carrier. He retired from the US Army as a Flight Operations Specialist with over twenty years of service and had served in the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his Ex wife, Ruth Robbins and a daughter, Diana Miller Carrier both in 2009 and also a sister, Shirley Willemburg. Mr. Carrier was of the Catholic faith. Surviving Mr. Carrier are his loving wife of thirty years, Jeannie Carrier of Blairsville, three daughters and two sons in laws, Yvonne and Michael Penrod of Owosso, MI., Tammie and Ronald DuQuette of New Baltimore, MI., Debbie Carrier of Owosso, MI., one sister, Sharon Carrier of MI., seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held in Holly, MI. with interment and Military Honors in the Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to Cast-A-Way Critters or to the Union County Humane Society in memory of Mr. Carrier.
