More detail on this person: Anthony M. "Toni" Coggeshall, 72, died Thursday evening, July 23, 2015, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Susan A. (Guss) Coggeshall. They were married for 47 years. A service to celebrate Mr. Coggeshall's life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York, followed by burial with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. His pastor, the Rev. Kevin T. Shively, will officiate. A visitation is scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Born January 12, 1943, in Hazelton. he was the son of the late Freaborn P. and Anyarita (Mhley) Coggeshall. Mr. Coggeshall graduated from Pennsylvania Military College in 1965 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in English. Following graduation he served in the U.S. Army, completing a tour of duty in Vietnam as a UH-1 Huey helicopter pilot. During that period, he earned three Distinguished Flying Crosses and the Bronze Star for Valor. Following his active duty service, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves and the Pennsylvania National Guard. In his civilian life, he was the Quality Assurance Manager for Continental Wire & Cable and later the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager for Adhesives Research, from where he retired. He was also a member of St. Mathew's Lutheran Church, a very active committee member for the York Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, and a former member of the Shiloh Lions Club. In addition to his wife, Mr. Coggeshall is survived by his son, Todd Coggeshall and his wife, Melissa of Miramar, Fla.; his daughter, Amy Laurent and her husband, John of North Kingston, R.I.; four grandchildren, Kathryn, Sarah, and Nathan Coggeshall, and Anthony "AJ" Laurent; a sister, Grace Mortimer; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Evelyn Coggeshall, and a brother, Pierce Coggeshall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
