Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline & Ollie Chapmon. Brothers: Cleo, Leo Claud, and one daughter Loretta Ann. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret, 6 children: Ted (Jan) of Wichita KS, Wanda (Elliot) Merja of Sun River, MT, Dorothy (Mike) Viancourt of Brook Park, Ohio, Alfred (Karin) Chapmon of Lampasas, Texas, Corinne (Ronnie) Jones of Kettering, Ohio, and Irene Sherman of Beavercreek, Ohio. 20 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Brothers: Ray (Julia) of Pine Bluff, AR, Russell (Pat) of Stuttgart, AR, Billy (Phyllis) of Pine Bluff, AR, sisters-in-law Judy of Pearland, TX, Nyra Jean of Sumter, SC, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was very devoted to his family. He spent 12 years in the Air Force as an Air Craft Mechanic and 30 years in the Active Army and Reserve Army as a Helicopter & Fixed Wing Pilot, Maintenance Officer, and served in the Law Office Retiring as a CW3. He worked for Civil Service and as a contractor at Wright Patterson AFB, serving his Country for 47 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall rd. on Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 3-6 PM. Funeral services will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastor Gary Favor officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens following the funeral on Monday. Contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, General Fund, 4215 Indian Ripple Rd.
