More detail on this person: James David Campbell, 80, went to be with the Lord on Thursday Oct. 16, 2014. He was a native of Long Island, NY, a member of Rivershore Baptist Church, a member of the masonic lodge, and a Retired Army Veteran. He served during Korea and was a Helicopter Pilot with two tours of duty during Vietnam. James is survived by his wife, Helen F. Campbell; daughters, Laura Osborn, Jennifer Johnson and Jolynn Larsen; grandchildren, Kirsten Osborn, Kelsey Osborn, Kale Campbell Osborn, Chaely Campbell, Stephanie Campbell, Michael Johnson, Laura Enderle and Matthew Enderle; and a great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland chapel by Rev. Philip Parker. Interment will follow with full military honors at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Thursday from 6-7 p.m.The family suggest memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project.
