More detail on this person: Jex was born Jan 19, 1934. Having earned his Master Aviation Wings, he flew helicopter's in three wars, Korea, Viet Nam, and the first Gulf war. He was shot down in Vietnam and had sufforded serious wounds. The Army decorated him with the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and an Army commendation medal and many service and campaign medals.
