More detail on this person: Killed on take off in Navy A-6 because of a flameout in Puerto Rico. Joined Navy after flying both slicks and guns in the Army.Rocco was a friend of mine. He was honer guard at my cousin, John Stirpe's funeral after he was killed in action in Vietnam in 1968. We would go and get pizza on weekends - we were all friends. He enlisted with his brother, Tony and my cousin John in 1967. He did four tours in Vietnam. He died in a plane crash in February 1979 in Portorico. He and Tony escorted my cousin John's body from Vietnam in October 1968.
