More detail on this person: CHARLES W. COLE, Jr. Charles "Chuck" Cole died on February 14, 2002 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born December 26, l949 in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Charles W. and Glendoris (van Dieken) Cole. He graduated from Widefield High School in 1968. He served in the Army as a helicopter pilot with a tour in Vietnam where he distinguished himself. He was awarded the Purple Heart along with many other awards. His career choice was as a Computer Systems Consultant. In this position he traveled extensively while working with large corporations. He was a active member of the Desert Corvette Association. He is survived by his wife, Candy; a son, Chad Cole of Glendale, AZ; a daughter, Windie Cole-Welch of Crockett, CA and a stepson, Jeff Jones of Tempe, AZ. In addition he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cole of Canon City, CO: a sister, Deborah Hall of Littleton, CO and a brother, Brian Cole of Hastings, MN. Chuck's grandchildren Ellie, Jared, Quintin, Ashley, Skylar and Katie will miss their "Papa." Andrew Hall and Elizabeth and John Thomas Cole will also miss their Uncle Chuck. His was a life well-lived and well-loved. His will be a life missed by so many.
