More detail on this person: Major William J. Conner, 33, of Clarksville, Tenn., brother of Mrs. Ronald (Louise) Kennedy of Clearfield, died Monday, July 16, in the Fort Campbell Army Hospital, W. Va. Mass of Participation was celebrated at the St. Jude Catholic Church, Thursday, July 19, and interment followed in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, W. Va. Maj. Connor was born July 12, 1940, at Elwood, Pa., the son of Luther Connor and the late Lydia Emma Mann Connor. He is survived by his wife, Frances Cerra Conner, daughter Melonie and son Michael, both at home. Maj. Connor is also survived by his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Conner, Moundsville, W. Va., and these brothers and sisters: LeRoy, Meadville; Thomas, Moundsville, W. Va.; Mrs. James (Helen) Allen, Moundsville, W. Va.; and Mrs. Kennedy, Clearfield. A stepbrother, Larry Cook, Moundsville, W. Va., and a stepsister, Mrs. O. Jack (Marilyn) Meade, Macedonia, Ohio, also survive. Maj. Connor was a former resident of Moundsville W. Va.
