More detail on this person: Robert B. "Bob" Dahl The following is from an obituary published in the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle (Cheyenne, WY) on Feb. 16, 2005: Robert B. Dahl was born May 26, 1948, in Portland, Ore., the son of Mary Yettick and Jalmer B. Dahl. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Annette Vrooman in 1999, in Rawlins. She preceded him in death. He was employed at PacifiCorp for 33 years until his retirement on Jan. 5, 2005. He served on the board of directors for seven chambers of commerce, including three terms as president. He was a charter board member of the Wyoming Economic Development Association, including four terms as president. He also served on Wyoming's Judicial Nominating Commission, chairman of the Wyoming Work First Steering Committee and chairman of the Rawlins Planning and Zoning Commission. He was a member of the Elks Club, VFW, Rotary Club, various chambers and the Sweetwater Economic Development Association. His interests included motorcycles, boating, scuba diving and driving very fast. Graveside military honors were performed by Archie Hay Post 24 and internment took place in the Paul J. Wataha section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
