More detail on this person: Bob finally died of acute kidney failure/secondary to liver disease. Bob and I were married months before he left for 'Nam and I can tell you he was a changed person upon his return. Although he chose not to elaborate on his tour, those incidents' he did share with me, had to have taken alot out of him. He received 3 DFCs so whatever he did over there must have been significant.

Arlington Cemetary would not accept his remains so Bob is buried in the National Cemetary in Culpeper, Va. He died on Dec 2, 2005, at Rockingham Mem. Hospital, in Harrisonburg, Va.

I can't tell you how pleased I am you cared enough to respond. His funeral at Culpeper was not what my 2 sons nor I had expected...certainly not canned 'taps'!

By-the-way, Bob and I were married 3 months shy of 38 yrs.
