More detail on this person: Roger R. Elrod Dothan AL United States CW4 (Ret.) Roger R. Elrod of Daleville, passed away, Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at William F. Green Veterans Home in Bay Minette. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Southview City Cemetery, Thomaston, Ga. Military rites will be observed at the graveside. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Providence Funeral Home in Enterprise. Roger retired from the Army in 1973 after 30 years of military service. After military retirement he was employed at Fort Rucker until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Grace Kinsler Elrod; a son, Roger Elrod Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalind and Jerome Foust; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers also survive, Ronald Elrod, Wetumpka, and Ralph Elrod, Macon, Ga.
