Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas with Er-mert Funeral Home of Corning, Arkansas (870-857-3596) directing. The family will receive friends at Ermert Funeral Home in Arkansas from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009. Byrd Funeral Home of Dothan has charge of all local arrangements. Mr. Eldridge was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe & Goldie Eldridge. He is also predeceased by a great-grandson, Brandon Tant; sisters, Dorothy Peters & Louise Hart; a brother, Billy Joe Eldridge; nephews, James Eldridge, Gale Eldridge, Jimmy Hart, and Cody Peters; and a niece, Barbara Caldwell. Mr. Eldridge is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Eldridge. Also surviving are daughters, Patricia Eldridge of Daleville and Nancy Douglas (Brian) of Newton; sons, Doyle Eldridge (Rhonda), of Dallas, TX, Douglas Eldridge (Rhonda), of Monetta, SC, Gregory Eldridge of Level Plains; grandchildren, Na-tasha Quebec (Charles), Robert Wayland (Rachael), Jessica Reyes, Ashley Douglas, Daric Wayland, Michael Douglas (Danielle), Andy Wayland, Benton Eldridge, Kristina Mason (Robert), Travis Eldridge, and Laura Roberts; great- grandchildren, Bryanna Douglas, Sabrina Quebec, Beau Quebec, John Tant, Robert Wayland, Cahlin Douglas.
