EversoleLtCol. Carl J. Eversole, USMC, Fighter Pilot, Retired, 82, husband of Anne West Eversole, of Beaufort, SC, died peacefully Monday, December 24, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 5-7pm in Anderson Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00am in Beaufort National Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Eversole was born on March 12, 1930 in Frankfort, KY. He is the son of the late Carl F. Eversole and Virginia Martin Eversole. Surviving in addition to his wife of Beaufort, SC; are one son, Ken Eversole and his wife, Alysoun of St. Helena, SC; one grandson, Joe Alan Eversole and his wife, Caitlin, Petty Officer in the U S Navy stationed Japan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Joey Eversole. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Friends of Caroline Hospice, 1110 13th Street, Port Royal, SC 29935. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
