More detail on this person: I am his youngest son, born 10/08/65, and know little about his service in the war. Few records have survived in the "family archives", and the few stories have been retold too many times to be completely reliable. Their are so many links to resources that I was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction. I would be greatly interested to know the source of the information for his listing. Also, he served a second tour some time around '65 or '66.

Unreliable story #1: He was the first helicopter pilot shot down in Vietnam.
