More detail on this person: Retired Army Lt. Col. Robert Michael Forman, 66, a loyal American soldier, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at his home in Keller. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Inurnment with full military honors will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials: If friends so desire, donations may be made to Summer Santa Children's Charity, P.O. Box 1773, Keller, Texas 76244. Mr. Forman was born July 5, 1946, in Chicago, Ill. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor's in communications and earned a master's in management at Webster University. He joined the U.S. Army and served 20 years in the MI Branch. After serving in Vietnam as an MI officer, he then became an Army aviator pilot, both fixed wing and helicopter pilot, and served in Hawaii, Germany and several bases in the U.S. After that, he joined Lockheed Martin as a systems engineer and strategic planner. He retired in March 2013. He was a good-hearted man who helped others. He loved traveling with family and friends. His great joy, aside from family, was his passion for the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Leadbetter. Survivors: Wife, Charlotte; daughters, Jennifer Stuart and Jessica Starr; grandchildren, John Starr, Brendan Stuart, Riley Stuart and Zachary Starr; brothers, Timothy Forman and Thomas Forman; sisters, Judith LeRoy and Laurie Lebben; and sons-in-law, Jason Stuart and John Starr.
