More detail on this person: We have received a report from a family member of Stanley Gause that he has passed away from a very quick acting illness in December of 2014.

Stan was the last man out the door when the 162nd AHC stood down on April 2, 1972! He turned OFF the lights that marked the end of our unit's involvement in Vietnam! He had ALL the company's records from its first deployment in Vietnam in February 1966 and those records became the basis for the databases (aircraft & personnel) that make up the spreadsheet workbook that I made for everyone to share, including the ultimate Vietnam database located at Texas Technical University, and be preserved for eternity!

He also wrote the narrative "History of the 162nd AHC"!! This is alsoA included inA the ultimate Vietnam database located at Texas Technical University! He finally was the creator of the ~45 minute 162nd AHC unit Video that covers the unit's deployment in Vietnam from 1966 to 1972! This is also included in the ultimate Vietnam database located at Texas Technical University! So his legacy will be there forever for all to see about our unit's "adventure" in Vietnam!
