More detail on this person: Genter, Billy Vernon (Bill) born on December 28, 1938 in Evansville, IN and joined the Lord on December 30, 2012 peacefully from his home. He is survived by a devoted and loving wife of 54 years, Donna (Wilson) Genter; three children, Chris Goldhorn, Keith Genter (Kerstin), Karen Genter-Moore (Brian); six grandchildren, and awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild, and awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild. and awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild. He also leaves behind a brother, (Mel); sister, (Jacquee) and their families. Bill spent a 28-year career in Army aviation where he flew 11 different types of aircraft, followed by a second career as an Aeronautical Engineer with McDonnell Douglas. He started his career in 1958 as a Private and retired in 1986 as a Lt. Colonel with a masters degree in Logistics Management. He was stationed throughout the world and after he retired in 1995, was enchanted by and moved to Albuquerque. Services will be at St. Stephens Methodist Church on Juan Tabo on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception following at the church.
