More detail on this person: Bobby Joe 'Bob'Gunn Bobby Joe "Bob" Gunn, 61, of Lawrenceville, died suddenly Wednesday morning (May 18, 2011) in Lawrenceville. He was a native of Lancaster, S. C. He lived in Lawrenceville for many years. He was son of the late Rayford Gunn and Estelle Meeks Gunn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle Lemacks Gunn, and a brother, Steve Gunn. He worked with Audio-Tech, Inc. for more than 31 years starting with the company in 1979. He was a tremendous asset to Audio-Tech with his working knowledge of Pro Sound Systems and Master Television Systems. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War while serving in the U. S. Army. He was a helicopter pilot and received many medals, and for his dedication and courage, the Purple Heart. Survivors include two brothers, Larry Gunn, of Nicholls, and Ernie Gunn, of Conyers, and three sisters, Bonnie Gunn, of Tampa, Fla., Carlene Dukes, of Waycross, and Fay Shepherd, of Rutledge. Agraveside service will be held Sunday afternoon at 4:30 at Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery on Highway 203 with the Rev. Randy Wisdom officiating. Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
