More detail on this person: Charles H. Grayson Mr. Charles H. Grayson, Sr. 82, of Lynn Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Grayson was born December 20, 1929 in Meridian, Ms to Jesse and Hestine Grayson. He was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church. Mr. Grayson was a honorary member of Gulf Coast Community College Commander Baseball team; he was their number one fan. Mr. Grayson was retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam war. He loved his family and his Lord, and he was passionate about baseball. Mr. Grayson is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anne Grayson of Lynn Haven; three children: Kathryn Benner and husband Ed of Panama City, Marsha McKenzie and husband Pat of Erie, Col., and Charles Grayson, Jr. and wife Barbara of Fayetteville, Ga.; seven grandchildren: Laurie Farmer, Ray Benner, Katie McKenzie, Mallory McKenzie, Andy Grayson, Carly Grayson, and Haley Grayson; four great grandchildren: Brittney Farmer, Kayla Farmer, Shelby Farmer, and Ashtyn Benner. The family would like to give a special thanks to Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans' Nursing Home Staff for the wonderful care given to their husband and father. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1401 W. 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32401.
