More detail on this person: Robert L. Gray Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Biloxi National Cemetery. OCEAN SPRINGS --- Retired Marine Corps Lt. Col. Robert L. Gray Jr., 70, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Gray was a native of Alexandria, La., and had been a Coast resident for 17 years. He retired from the Marine Corps after 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served three tours of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He flew the Presidential Helicopter for Presidents Kennedy and Johnson. He was awarded the Presidential Service Medal. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Lyle Dixon of Monroe, La., and Leslie Dawn Gray of Corpus Christi, Texas; a son, Drake Alexander Gray of Herndon, Va.; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
