More detail on this person: Funeral services for James R Grissom of Harker Heights, Texas will be Wednesday, Jly 27 at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights. Mr. Grissom passed July 21. Mr. Grissom was a retired Major after servingt 20 years in the US Army. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne and the 1st Cav Division. He served 2 tours in Vietnam and was a helicopter pilot. Mr. Grissom received numbeous awards while serving his country to include the Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Meritorious Service Award and the Air Medal.
