More detail on this person: Joseph T. Gimesky Joseph T. Gimesky entered into rest December 11, 2004 in San Antonio at the age of 81. He was born May 16, 1923 in Braddock, PA to the late Joseph and Mary (Pavlick) Gimesky. Joseph served his country in the U.S. Army as a Master Aviator and helicopter pilot during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and retired after over 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Delores Gimesky; daughter, Michele Allen and husband David; son, Joe Gimesky and wife Julie; grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin Allen, Stephen Gimesky; brother-in-law, Sam Zivkovich; sister-in-law, Norma Lame; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home. Scripture Services will be held at 9:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Sunset Funeral Home. Committal Services will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Thomas More Catholic School or to Presentation Sister.
