More detail on this person: Leonard Elmo Goza, Jr Leonard was a Navy LTJG helicopter pilot who served in Vietnam with Navy Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, HA(L)-3 Seawolves from 1967 to 1968. He transferred from us to HC-5, NAS IMPERIAL BEACH, CA in Sept, 1968. Leonard was killed in a helicopter (H-2 model) crash and lost at sea off the coast of California and his body was never recovered. They were aboard a ship operating off the coast of California and had a flight going into San Diego. Leonard was not scheduled to fly that day, but the pilot scheduled, gave him the flight because Leonard wanted to come in early for a family situation. The flight never made it, crashing at sea, and all onboard perished. The bodies of the Pilot and Aircrewman were recovered, but Leonard and three other personnel onboard were never found. Some family information was furnished by Leonard's brother in law Brent Diehl. Brent was married to Leonard's sister Geri who passed away in 2003 also buried in Mount Hope FAG #63919368
