More detail on this person: Curtis Hissong Dothan AL United States Curtis James Hissong of Enterprise passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 18, 2008, at the family residence. He was 68. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. from the Meadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Daniel officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the Love's Way Church on Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. and continuing until 3 p.m. Curtis was born Nov. 7, 1939, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Curtis L. and Oda Burdette Severns Hissong. He was retired from the U.S. Army. The family asked that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Covenant Hospice, 3855 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 110, Dothan, AL 36301. Survivors include his wife, Joyce R. Hissong, Enterprise; four daughters, Diane Tripp (Bryan), Madison, Judy Hissong, San Diego, Calif., Tammy Rogers (James), Enterprise, Kimberly Hissong, Maylene; one son, Curtis Hissong (Debra), Savannah, Ga.; eight grandchildren. Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise, (334) 347-9598, is in charge of arrangements.
