More detail on this person: Donald Andrew Houston, 69, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at First United Methodist Church, Mansfield. Don was born in Dallas on Jan. 24, 1945, the son of Vernon and Marjorie Houston. He retired from the U.S. Army and Army Reserve after 27 years as a medical logistics officer and helicopter med-evac/test pilot. After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf with his wife and friends at Walnut Creek Country Club. Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Houston. Survivors: Wife, Marilyn; son, Scott and wife, Angel; daughters, Michele and Linda Tracy and Jennifer Spiegel and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Houston, Hunter and Cassidy; and brother, Ronald Houston.
