More detail on this person: Conrad R. Howard Retired Chief Warrant Officer Conrad R. Howard, 64, died Nov. 2 at Hospice Savannah. He was a native of Auburn, N.Y., a resident of Bloomingdale and retired from the Army. He received numerous medals, including the Distinguished Flying Cross and 23 Air Medals. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association, the Army Aviators Association and the 71st Assault Helicopter Company Association. He was a Catholic. SURVIVORS: his wife, JoAnn McGowan Howard of Bloomingdale; a daughter, Jacolyn Barber of Fayetteville, N.C.; three sons, Ronald Ray Howard of Columbus, Ohio, Christopher Eugene Howard of Charleston and Robert Conrad Howard of Fort Stewart; three stepsons, Frederick S. Phinney of Bloomingdale, Michael Anthony Wojcik of Port Wentworth, and Thomas Andrew Wojcik of Atlanta; and several grandchildren. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Friday in Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort. Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel. REMEMBRANCES: Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
