More detail on this person: George D. Hervatin Funeral services for George D. Hervatin will be held at 11:00 a.m.mon Saturday at Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 West Maple Avenue, Mundelein. Interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the services at the funeral home from 9:00-11:00 a.m. George was born November 1, 1948 in Yugoslavia and died Monday, December 23, 2013 at his home. From 1971-2008, he was in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserves as a Pilot/IP/ASO (Instruction Pilot, Air Safety Officer) and from 1993-2012 he was employed with UPS in Hazardous Materials Management. He was also a member of Teamsters Local 705. George is survived by his brothers, John Hervatin, Abraham (Ellen) Hervatin Jr., and Paul (Kathy) Hervatin. Cherished uncle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Dear friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Paula (nee Jezernik) Hervatin, and his sister-in-law, Giselle. George D. Hervatin Funeral services for George D.
