More detail on this person: Mr. Harry Atwood Hodges II VIDALIA - Mr. Harry Atwood Hodges, III, 60 of Thailand, died Monday, November 5, 2007 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. He was a native of Toombs County and had lived around the world including, most recently in Thailand. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a Warrant Officer and flew Huey and Cobra Helicopters. Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife, Wanthanee Phanitsan Hodges of Thailand; one daughter, Kelly Hoevers of Texas and her mother, Carol Baker Hodges of Thayer, Missouri; two sisters, Gayle Corley of Vidalia and Jana Underwood of Savannah; one niece, Jennifer Corley of Vidalia; one nephew, Jeff Corley of Valdosta and other family members in Thailand. Honoring Mr. Hodges request, he will be cremated. Murchison Funeral Home *Harry Atwood Hodges, III Harry A Hodges III was cremated. His wife, Wanathee, took the urn back to Thailand where she is from and where Harry spent most of the last few years of his life. The marker at Lakeview is "in memory" of him and is placed next to the graves of his parents.
