Mr. Hood retired from the U.S. Army as a Major and was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. After his retirement from the Army he was a claims adjuster with Farmers Insurance Co. and later with NM Mutual Insurance Co. Funeral arrangements are pending with Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Ft.
