More detail on this person: Paul G. Hanson Jr. FORT WORTH - Paul G. Hanson Jr., 83, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at St. Francis Village Chapel. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Vigil: 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Francis Village Chapel. Paul G. Hanson Jr. was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Lincoln, Neb., and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BS degree. He spent 31 years in the military and was an Air Force command pilot. He loved flying and flew the F-86, KC-135 and the C-130 among others. He retired from the Air Force in 1975 as a lieutenant colonel and later taught aviation technology for three years at a community college in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Margaret "Peg" Hanson; children, Paul Hanson III, Margaret Parde, Laura Behne, Carol Hanson, Ralph Hanson, John Hanson and Michael Hanson; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Pritchard.
