More detail on this person: Colon surguryReceived a email from ex-Mrs. Harris E. "Butch" Haynes that Butch died on September 10 following complications from Colon surgery. He was in ORWAC 64-1 and served in the 227 or the 229, 1st Cav. (Gary, whichever one was the Huey group, Company UNK.) He was a graduate of Texas A&M from Forney, TX. He went to RVN in November and received the Bronze Star and multiple AM,s. Butch was the fourth of my 5 member carpool of 64-1 to die. Two in RVN, one in a A/C accident after tour and then Butch. Being the sole survivor is scary. John W. Green III 64-1 Mardi Gras 3 145th Airlift Bandit 26 281st AHC Delta Air
