More detail on this person: Howard Horton wrote that Hull was convicted of murdering an Australian lady while on R&R there, was sent to prison in Australia and was himself killed by "the locals" while in prison. Lawrence Hull; Was Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Lawrence J. Hull, 26, of 49 Old King St., Enfield, Conn., died Wednesday in Vernon, Conn., of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, according to Dr. Howard Shapiro, assistant medical examiner. A student at Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield, he was an Army helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. A native of Barre, Vt., he lived in Enfield 11 years, he worked for Kaman Corporation, Bloomfield, Conn. He formerly worked for Geissler's Market, Warehouse Point section of East Windsor, Conn., and Hamilton Standard Division of United Aircraft Corp., Windsor Locks, Conn. He leaves his parents, Maynard and Madaline (Shappy) Hull of Enfield; two brothers, William of Rockville, Conn. and Andrew of Enfield, and a sister, Marcia of Enfield. The funeral will be Saturday morning at Leete funeral home and in St. Patrick's Church with burial in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, all Enfield.
