More detail on this person: He flew helicopters, at first H-34s then the S-58 out of Udorn Thailand and in Vietnam he flew the UH-1s. He was born Sept. 19, 1927. He died on.... or around December 11th 1995. He was living in Wallis, Texas but had been in Bloomington, IL for years before moving down to Texas just a year before he died. A side note. he is one of the pilots in the famous picture of the AA helicopter on the Pittman apartments on the last day of Saigon. This is verified by many sources, most recently people magazine.
