More detail on this person: Jerome G. Hileman Lt. Col. Jerome G. Hileman, 71, Venice, died Jan. 17, 2000. He was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Texas and came to Venice 13 years ago from Pittsburgh. He was an Army veteran, serving two terms in Vietnam as a helicopter squadron commander. His medals included three Distinquished Flying Crosses. He had 1,100 hours of combat mission flight time. Survivors include three sons, Jerome and Lawerence, both of Houston, and Wesley of Venetia, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Kathy Deluca of McMurray, Pa., and Connie McCahan of Orlando; and six grandchildren. The military honor service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Capri Isle Golf Club. Orlando Direct Cremation Service is in charge.
