More detail on this person: Francis John Hnatiuk Francis John Hnatiuk, 54, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, in Tallahassee, Fla. He was born Sept. 28, 1945. He was a resident of Detroit and longtime resident of Lisle before moving to Tallahassee in 1968. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Vietnam War, serving as a helicopter pilot and attaining the rank of chief warrant officer. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3308. He was employed as a CADD engineering technician by Spectra Engineering and Research. He is survived by his wife, Tracy E. Allen of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Michael Allen Hnatiuk of Tallahassee, Fla.; a daughter, Veronica Elizabeth Hnatiuk of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Mark A. Hnatiuk of Bulverde, Texas; a sister, Michele Janowiako of Evergreen, Colo.; four stepsons, Robbie David of Marianna, Fla., and Gary Anthony Brewer, Timothy Owens and Kenneth Owens, all of Tallahassee, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Charlotte Bull of Crawfordville, Fla., and Mikie Hamlin of Tallahassee, Fla.; his stepmother, Julie Hnatiuk of Naperville; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Unity Church of Tallahassee. Interment is private. Memorials may be directed to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428. Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Fla., handled the arrangements.
