Hokanson, 47, of Boise, Idaho, and a former resident of East Wenatchee, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 1994, at Boise. He was born Sept. 1, 1947, to Ralph and Naomi (Peyton) Hokanson at Seattle. He attended school and graduated from Shoreline High School in 1965. Mr. Hokanson served in the U.S. Army as a pilot and served two terms in Vietnam. He worked as an inspector pilot for the Department of the Interior and had been a flight instructor. He married Pam Bragg on June 18, 1966, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They lived in East Wenatchee. Mr. Hokanson was an air traffic controller at Pangborn Airport and flew for WenatcheeAero part time. He is survived by his former wife, of Kirkland; two sons, James W. of Seattle, and Paul E. of Kirkland; three daughters, Sherri, Brittney and Katie, all of Kirkland; his mother, of Edmonds; his grandmother, Meme Lien of Edmonds; a brother, Don of Lynnwood; three sisters, Debbie Cadwallader of Seattle, Chris Hokanson of Seattle, and Tarsi Vannoy of Seattle; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements by Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, Seattle.
